about lattica

At Lattica, we recognize that organizations often face a tradeoff between leveraging AI and protecting their data. We tackle this challenge by combining cutting-edge cryptography with modern ML infrastructure.

our story

Lattica was founded on a simple yet radical idea: FHE could be made practical by leveraging the same acceleration techniques that power modern machine learning.

FHE makes it possible to compute on encrypted data, but its real-world adoption has been limited by performance bottlenecks and complex implementations. We realized that by applying the optimization strategies used in modern ML, such as parallel computation, tensor operations, and hardware acceleration, we could unlock FHE’s potential for AI.

With deep expertise in cryptography, neural networks, and AI infrastructure, we built a developer-friendly platform that integrates privacy-preserving AI seamlessly into existing workflows. Instead of asking companies to re-architect their ML pipelines, we make privacy as easy as deploying a model to the cloud.

our approach

Lattica is built on the idea that FHE can be practical for AI inference with the right optimizations. Instead of treating FHE as a standalone cryptographic problem, we design our system like a modern machine learning stack, ensuring it is fast, scalable, and easy to integrate into real-world AI workflows.

We approach this challenge with three core principles:

  • Optimized for Performance – We built Lattica for AI inference from day one, optimizing performance across all layers of the stack, from model-aware algorithmic design to optimizations at the hardware level.
  • Built for Developers – Lattica integrates directly with PyTorch and other industry-standard ML frameworks, enabling seamless adoption without requiring expertise in cryptography.
  • Scalable by Design – Our infrastructure dynamically manages compute resources, allowing AI providers to deploy encrypted inference as a service and scale based on their needs.
our team

Lattica is a small team of builders, we do not distinguish between researchers and engineers. We value creativity, persistence, and attention to detail, and our decisions are guided by a single mission: making FHE practical for AI.

We come from diverse backgrounds in cryptography, machine learning and cloud infrastructure, with experience at top research institutions and tech companies. We work at the intersection of theory and practice, where deep theoretical expertise meets hands-on execution.

We work best with people who excel at solving hard problems, take ownership from start to finish, and move fast by focusing on the right goals. If that sounds like you, we’d love to talk.
